Snowriter is Snow Witch's personal website. You can browse without signing in. Sign-in is used to leave comments or manage your own content.

Accounts and sign-in

Email sign-in uses your email address to send a verification code. Google sign-in receives only your verified email address and Google's unique account identifier. It does not read Gmail, contacts or Drive, or retain Google access tokens. Your email address and account identifier are not shown to other visitors.

Public content and browser storage

The nickname, comments and replies you post are public. Essential cookies maintain your sign-in session. Theme and language preferences and unsent content may be stored in your current browser. Clearing browser data removes these local records. This site has no advertising or behavioral analytics tools.

Services and security

The site runs on the owner's servers, with requests passing through a relay server in the United States. Brevo delivers verification emails. Choosing Google sign-in takes you to Google. These services process the data needed for their respective functions. The site uses encrypted connections and keeps security and operational logs only as needed. Website access logs are retained for no more than 14 days; sign-in authorization codes and verification codes are not written to website logs.

Retention and deletion

Your account and submitted content are retained until you delete the content or contact the owner for assistance. You can delete your own comments; comments with replies retain a deletion marker. Signing out revokes the current session. Backups are kept for recovery and are not publicly accessible. Deleted data may remain temporarily in older backups.

To request access to, correction of or deletion of your account data, contact snowriter.myx@gmail.com. We verify account ownership before handling a request. You can also revoke access to this site in your Google Account settings.
